Semester at Sea: Communications Intern
To Whom It May Concern:
Over the past semester I’ve had the privilege of working with Jay Muller in the communications department at Semester at Sea. He has been a joy to work alongside and I can’t recommend him enough for future employment.
Jay is resourceful, friendly, hardworking, and a quick learner. His work played a key role in the day-to-day success of our on-ship communications, and he took initiative in recording and editing audio and video, writing blog posts, gathering foreign media contacts, interviewing members of our community, other administrative tasks, and much more.
My favorite aspect of Jay is his ambition. He was prepared to tackle the day’s work, but was always recommending improvements and seeking to go above and beyond. While handling standard public relations and other communication assignments, he was producing reflective videos to be submitted as potential marketing content.
His work was solid and his attitude was even better. Jay is a great worker, and would make a great addition to any team. Every assigned task was completed with supreme quality. Not once can I recall him complaining, or having a bad attitude. He was consistently punctual and would stay late if needed.
